Abduction Of Kogi Chief Of Staff’s Mother Politically Motivated – says EYCO.

The leadership of the Ebira Youth Coalition under the leadership of Comrade Mohammed Eneji has stressed that the recent abduction of the mother to the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor Pharmacist Abdulkareem Asuku is politically motivated.

He described it as unfortunate and an attempt to distract the Chief of Staff from carrying out his duties via supporting the Governor to deliver the dividend of democracy as we enjoy it today in Kogi State.

The President who also doubles as the National Secretary of the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) observed that various comments by some desperate politicians and some attention seekers on the matter since yesterday as ungodly and reckless.

These comments have therefore made it obvious to note that the abduction was not carried out by just criminals but by the enemies of the Government.

Eneji however Charged Pharmacist Asuku never to be deterred by this ugly incident as he urged the security operatives in Kogi State to intensify efforts to enable her safe rescue.

Global Times Nigeria report that the abducted mother of the Chief of Staff According to the Police spokesman, the assailants were said to have stormed the residence of Mrs. Raji at about 7:40 pm shortly after she observed evening (Ishai) prayer in her mosque within the house.

To rescue her, Kogi state Police command said a crack squad has been dispatched to track down the kidnappers of Mrs. Seriya Raji, mother of the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Pharmacist Abdulkarim Jamiu Asuku.
