Mrs Aina Obafemi, Mother of the 15 year-old student of Christ Girls Secondary School, Ado Ekiti, who allegedly accused former member of the Ekiti state House of Assembly, Dr Samuel Omotoso of sexual harassment has cried out to the Principal of Christ Girl’s School, Ado Ekiti, Mrs Esan Oluremi Agbaje and the State Attorney General, Mr Wale Fapohunda, to release her daughter to her and stop using her to settle political score against the PDP ex-lawmaker.
A sad 47 year old, Mrs. Obafemi, who cried profusely while speaking in Igede-Ekiti at the weekend, said she has not seen her daughter for about two months after she was abducted from the Omotosos’ house without her consent by the principal of Christ Girls’ High School, Ado-Ekiti which held her daughter incommunicado till today, saying the state govt is taking advantage of her illiteracy and poor condition.
Mrs. Obafemi, a widow said that the Omotosos have been very helpful to her by accepting to train and take her wayward daughter who she can’t control anymore, into their care after she had previously run away from two different homes and have since been taking good care of her including her education, describing the Omotoso’s as God sent.
She said the girl was lying as usual by alleging Dr Omotoso of sexual harassment, affirming that there was no time her daughter told her of anything like that, despite having a personal phone with which they talked regularly and she visit her often up till last Easter.
Mrs Aina Obafemi said, “last December, my daughter came home to spend her annual holidays and said the domestic chores in the Omotoso’s house were too much and that she has no freedom to go out with her friends, but l advised her to forget freedom for now and face her education since all her friends in the village are either pregnant or with babies.”
The mother went further that each time she was in the village for holiday, her daughter had no respect for her, lies a lot and only enjoyed sitting in beer parlous with boyfriends while dancing to very loud music and arriving home late in the night and hence she knows that her daughter will do everything possible to be freed to continue her wayward behaviours.
“We went to her school at three separate times and the Principal, did not allow me access to my daughter till today, despite one instance in the company of my lawyer and two policemen.
“While at her school on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 with Mrs Omotoso, I confronted the principal that I know my daughter very well and that she was lying as usual, looking for freedom for her wayward behaviours as she once told me that Mrs Omotoso is too strict.
“At this point the principal asked Mrs Omotoso to go out and the Principal asked me to also lie and support my daughter that the allegation is true and that this will make my daughter to become Erelu Fayemi’s (Governor Fayemi’s wife) daughter with free boarding, clothes, shoes, feeding and school training up to the University level.

“While at the school with the lawyer, we saw a teacher teaching my daughter and dictating to her what to write against Hon Omotoso and tearing her statements more than four times while asking my daughter to rewrite the dictation again and again.
