Alleged Signing Of Documents: Nasarawa Assembly To Investigate Suspended Gov. Sule’s Aide.

The Nasarawa State Ad-hoc committee invesigating the activities of the state Urban Development Board ( NUDB) is investigating the suspended Senior Special Assistant to Gov. Abdullahi Sule on Development Control,  Arch.Stanley Buba over signing of documents while on suspension.

Hon David Maiyaki, the Chairman of the committee made this known when Buba appeared before the committee in Lafia today.

Maiyaki said that the invitation extended to  the suspended governor’s aide was to get information from him on the activities of the board.

” We have invited the management staff of the NUDB and we have gotten the necessary information from them.

” And today, we have  invited you to hear your role regarding the activities of the board.

” We will continue with our investigation in order to come up with the true picture on the activities of the board,” he said

Earlier, Arch. Stanley Buba, the suspended aide to Gov. Abdullahi Sule  on Development Control admitted that he signed the documents while on suspension on the governor’s directive.

It would be recalled that on Sept.9, 2020, Nasarawa State House of Assembly has recommended the suspension of the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Gov. Abdullahi Sule on Development Control, Stanley Buba, to pave way for investigation into the activities of the state Urban Development Board.

It would be also recalled that  on October 9th, 2020, Gov.Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has approved the suspension of his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Development Control, Arch. Stanley Buba,

The suspension order was contained in a letter signed by the Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State, Muhammad Ubandoma Aliyu dated 9th September, 2020.

Governor Sule, based his decision on the recommendation of Nasarawa State House of Assembly, following an ongoing investigation by an Ad-hoc committee constituted by the House to look into the activities of the board.
