A public affairs analyst and media consultant, has lauded Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu for embracing synergy between the members of the state executive council with no major cabinet reshuffle after three years of his administration.
Abubakar Yusuf made the observation on Thursday in Abuja, stating that this is rare in a democratic dispensation in Nigeria.
He says the assemblage of professionals and people with wealth experiences who had contributed greatly to the development of Lagos State in the last three years became a huge potential to the state.
He asked the Lagos State Governor to retain the current members of the state executive council after his return to power in March , 2023, saying the management of crises, in all ramifications from health, social security and revenue generation was enough to return them automatically.
“The wealth of experience in their various areas of discipline showed the level impact members of the cabinet of the present administration had contributed positively to the growth of Lagos State.”
He urges other state governor’s to avoid distractions through constant remove of members of cabinet, stating that it will ensure continuity in governance process.
“The return of Sanwo-olu to the leadership of Lagos State will be the best thing that will happen in recent times, urging lagosians to support his return enmass in the next years general election.”
