APC Chieftain, Hon Tanko Yamawo, Bags NANNS Award Of Excellence.

The National Association of Northern Students (NANNS) on Saturday, presented an award of excellence to a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hon. Ishaku Tanko Yamawo, as Icon of Societal Transformation.

Hon Yamawo, who is a chairmanship aspirant for AMAC in the just concluded primaries, while receiving the award appreciated the above NANNS for such wonderful recognition done him.

While encouraging the association, he stated that every journey of life, everyone goes through there are times of failure, pain and suffering, saying only those who have the guts to get up and continue with their journey, emerge victorious.

Hon Yamawo, described the students as the bravest ones, adding that three secrets of success are hard work, intelligence and the courage to take up risks.

“And without courage, success cannot be achieved, with their Aluta continuously education struggle, victory must surely ascertain.

The NANNS president, Comrade Ibrahim Isah Adamu, said the association decided to conferred the award on him because of his humanitarian gestures towards the downtrodden and the less privileged across the FCT.

He said the association after series of findings discovered Hon Tanko Yamawo to be among top political elites in the territory that has contributed a lot to the empowerment and development of the youths and women across the territory.
