2023 elections has come and gone, politicians in the country especially those who has something to offer will continue to render services to their people either being in office or not.

Odu electoral leadership of the All Progressives Cingress, APC, comprises women, youths and elders has called on their leader and House of Representatives candidate in the 2023 election for Nasarawa/Toto federal constituency, Hon (Chief) Mohammed Yerima Albasheer  to return to the All Progressives Congress (APC) where his people truly belongs.

The group made the call yesterday when they visited Al-basheer at his Nasarawa  residence.

The visit came barely 3 months after the 2023 elections.

The party leaders said returning to APC would give Al-basheer the opportunity of joining other leaders to reposition the party and join hands with the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule  develop the country and State in particular.

Global Times Nigeria learnt that Officials and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, Odu Electoral Ward of Nasarawa local government area has asked Hon. Mohammed Yarima Al-Basheer to returned back to the house he built alongside other like-minded political leaders so that will attract more meaningful development their host community, ward and LGA.

It would be recall vividly May 19th, 2023, Mr Tukura Osu (JP), Chairman All Progressives Congress Odu Electoral Ward led a delegation of Party structure to meet Al-Basheer with a view to prevailing on him to return to his base, the All Progressives Congress, a Party he has helped to build and butter.

The delegation stated in clear terms, sensitive roles Al-Basheer played in keeping the Party moving and growing, winning and maintaining new members. They therefore noted that his absence following his defection had left them helpless, hence their decision to prevail on him to return home.

On his part, the former House of representatives candidate for Nasarawa/Toto federal constituency, Hon Mohammed Yerima Al-basheer acknowledge the love, support and prayers he has enjoined since embarked on political journey, noting that he joined the 2023 race to uplift and add value to his people and by extension Nasarawa and Toto LGAs respectively.

According to him, he is always answerable to his people and will always go by their direction hence his returned back to the of of the progressive.

Al-basheer also urged them to continue render their total support to Governor Abdullahi Sule in order to gain more dividends of democracy and described the Governor’s legacy project as the best things that had happened to their land.

He also asked them to extend same support to incumbent Chairman of the council, Hon Mohammed Ottos for his sincere commitment and leadership prowess, in which he said brought peace, progress, unity and development to the area.
