The good people of the Dekina/ Bassa federal constituency in the All Progressives Congress have spoken through their votes to elect their representative for the 2023 general election, Hon. Chief Paul Gowon Haruna on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to represent them in the national assembly and his victory has been described by many as the best choice of the people considering his outstanding achievements while in the Kogi State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2015 representing Dekina/ Biraidu Constituency.
Speaking to the Confluence Trust newspaper correspondent during the just concluded APC primary election that brought the victory of Hon Gowon to fruition, Hon Adejoh Ochidi stated that, Hon. Gowon Haruna popularly called IJN has distinguished himself in the field of legislation and philanthropy.
According to Hon. Orchid, Hon. Gowon is a man with outstanding experience who has excellently done well as a tested and trusted personality as the representative of the people at different times and fora.
During his time as a member of the Kogi State House of Assembly, he sponsored bills and motions that brought development to his constituency and if voted to the higher office at the green chamber of the National Assembly, he will do more as he stands tall among his contemporary in Dekina/Bassa politics and Kogi East as a whole.
As a politician and successful businessman, Hon. Gowon is going to use his network of connections to sponsor bills, motions, and other constituency projects with the sole aim of bringing rapid development to the good people of the Dekina/ Bassa Constituency.
As he won the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the good people of the constituency have been admonished to vote for a candidate with experience, a track record of excellent service, and humanitarian gestures all for the upliftment of the people.
According to Ochidi, management of human resources in the area is not for a beginner but should be a man with experience in all fields like Hon. Gowon Haruna, therefore, solicited the support of the people to vote for him and other APC candidates in the forthcoming 2023 general elections for adequate representation.
