Delta 2023: Oborevwori’s victory no victor no vanquished – Okowa’s EAC.

…Says PDP is one big united family.

Executive Assistant on Communications to the Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Governor of Delta State, Olorogun Barr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, JP, has said that the victory at the Supreme Court by the governorship candidate of Delta PDP, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Orohwedor, JP, is a victory for all Deltans and the party.

Oghenesivbe made the assertion while speaking to newsmen at the Supreme Court premises in Abuja on Friday 21st October, saying that the victory connotes better and prosperous days and years ahead for the good people of Delta State.

He called on Olorogun David Edevbie, his supporters and political associates to join political forces with candidate Oborevwori and the party structures to work for the landslide victory of the party and candidate in 2023, pointing out that it is the way of Democratic politics for pilitical actors to disagree and agree on the basis of multifaceted interests.

Oghenesivbe, who is also the Chairman of Coalition for Media Political and Governance, CMPG, further described Oborevwori’s victory as “no victor, no vanquish,” in line with the internal robust brotherhood and unity in diversity of the party, adding that the party’s candidate, Rt Hon Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor, sees the legal tussle as an ordained necessity to showcase the supremacy of God in the affairs of men.

“We are extremely comfortable with the ruling of the Supreme Court. It was unanimous decision by the five justices of the apex Court of the land. We give God the Glory.

“The Court upheld the ruling of the Court of Appeal, describing the action of the Appellant as premature, hasty, baseless and unfounded.

“However, our Principal and Delta incoming governor, Rt Hon Oborevwori, says there is no victor, no vanquished, meaning it is victory for all members of the party and that includes Olorogun David Edevbie, a prominent chieftain of our party, PDP.

“It is time for all of us to put the past behind and work together for the landslide victory of our party and candidate in 2023.

“Edevbie is a super technocrat whose wealth of experience is needed in the implementation of the M.O.R.E agenda.

“I call on Edevbie, his associates and supporters to join hands with our capacity grass rooted incoming governor, Oborevwori to move the state to greater heights from 2023 to 2031,” Oghenesivbe said.
