Hon Adamu Umaru Zakari, the famous and hopeful contender for Nasarawa/Toto federal constituency aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the next political dispensation in Nasarawa State has joined other great Nigerians to felicitate with Christians on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebrations.
Zakari in a statement made available to journalists in Kaduna by his media office, called for re-dedication from Nigerians, especially the people of Nasarawa State and more especially Nasarawa/Toto federal constituency to make the constituent a better place for all and sundry.
According to the statement, Jesus Christ paid the sacrifice for humanity out of complete obedience to the will of the Almighty God.
“We have to learn the spirit of brotherhood, selflessness and humility from the way Jesus Christ lived his life.
“Our nation, our State and our constituent need men and women who are committed to the service of humanity for us to have an environment that will bring out the potential in all of us.
“The task ahead requires the support of all Nigerians irrespective of religious and ethnic leaning for the government of President Muhammadu Buhar, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State to succeed in its effort to contain Nigeria Coronavirus pandemic spread and as well to take the nation and our dear State to the promised land,” the statement said.
Zakari charged the Christian community in Nasarawa State, Nasarawa/Toto federal constituency to continue to work to sustain the prevalent peaceful atmosphere, which the incumbent administration has established since coming into power.
He called on Nigerians especially the Christians to use this period to pray for the nation to overcome its present predicament.
The politician has also expressed deep concerned over what he called negligence on the part of the present National Assembly member representing the good people of Nasarawa/Toto federal constituency, Hon. Abdulmumini Ari who had prior to 2019 elections promised to ensure completion of Toto power, construction of road network and give a facelift of development but however failed to do so.
He assured the people of his constituents that the present NASS member has already made it easy for him to succeed him.
Zakari commend the commitment, patience, support and solidarity of the youths, women and elders saying he is on the way to bring back the lost glory of prosperity.
Zakari is a native of Shafa-Kwotto, Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
He graduated from prestigious Nasarawa State University Keffi, where he obtained Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Language and Master of Arts in English language (MA) respectively.
He presently works in Kaduna State and happily married with children.
