Edo 2024: APC in Disarray in Igueben

In a remarkable show of political realignment, over one hundred members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Idumeka.
This significant development marks a major shift in the political landscape of the area, and a substantial boost to the PDP’s strength and influence.

The Council Chairman, Hon. Asuelimhen, Leader Omi Imoisili and Mr. Oboirah Kennedy, warmly received the defectors into the PDP family, welcoming them with open arms.
This historic defection is a testament to the growing popularity and appeal of the PDP’s vision and ideals, as well as the party’s commitment to the welfare and progress of the people.
The prominent defectors include; Mr. Akahomhen Harrison; Former YPP house of Assembly candidate 2023. Mr. Jude Adia; Former Apc ward chairman, Mr. Ogbeifun Charity; Former Apc youth leader Mr. Aigbokhabho, Mr. Felix Enaho aka manager; Former ANPP councillorship Aspirant, Mrs. Aluge Franca Former APC unit woman leader amongst others; They cited the PDP’s inclusiveness and people-centered approach, Developmental stride of the formal and the present Executive Chairman of the council; Hon. Omi lmoisili and Hon. Asuelinmhen respectively and the general acceptance of the candidate; Dr. Asuerinmhen lghodalo, as major reasons for their decision. They expressed their enthusiasm to work with the PDP to build a better future for ward four, lgueben Lga, Edo state and its people.
