Edo PDP Crisis: Let’s Set the Record Straight, Ikimi.

This practice of making Governors leaders in their states started during Obasanjo’s administration. No Constitution is needed to tell anyone that being the highest elected officer makes leadership for anyone automatic. However, it’s not licensed for tyranny and dictatorship from any Governor or highest elected officers.
Sokoto:
Bafarawa allowed the dissolution of Sokoto exco to allow Gov. Tambulwa to take over the structure. Not one person was removed from the Exco. Instead, Tambulwa dropped his Deputy and picked an old PDP member to run with him. His former Deputy in anger moved to APC and became their Governorship candidate.
Benue
In Benue, Gov. storm appointed 3 Exco members into the Cabinet and the party allowed him to nominate people to replace them.
Edo
In Edo, the Benue option was given to Obaseki but he rejected saying he is not a trader. Regarding the Benue option as “trade by barter”.
The Edo PDP leaders conceded the office of Zonal financial Secretary and Zonal
ex-officio.
He also nominated the National Deputy Youth Leader.
He was also given the National Executive Ex-officio for Edo state.
To who much is given, much is expected.
He was given the Party ticket, he picked his Deputy from APC.
His Secretary to Govt. APC.
His Chief of Staff, APC.
Deputy Chief of Staff, APC.
Chairman & Members of Edo internal Revenue board, APC.
Chairman & Members Edo State Oil & Gas, APC.
Chairman & Members of SUBEB, APC.
19 Commissioners, only 3 are PDP. All of them were handpicked by the Governor without input from Party leaders.
All civil Servants appointed so far from those that came with him.
Question
Is acceptance of defected members based on giving up structures of CONSTITUTIONALLY elected members of the new members be included in decisions of party activities?
Strong parties are built on ideological and not structure-grabbing members.
