As Ramadan (fasting) comes to an end, a notable group known as Alhaji Shuaibu Audu 4 Good Governance Group, ASA4GG, has facilitated with the Muslim faithful on the auspicious occasion of Eid-El-Fitri celebration after the month of fasting.

The group in a statement on Sunday evening in Lokoja, Kogi State capital by its state coordinator, Mr. Umar Ogijo, said that Muslims should continue to live a holy life and the timeless values of compassion, love, tolerance, and forgiveness for each other as the essence of embarking on a month fast.

According to Ogijo,” Islam is a complete way of life and a religion of peace, calling on Muslims to imitate the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) whose entire life was for mankind and the ultimate and sincerely service of God.

“Today we at Alhaji Shuaibu Audu 4 Good Governance Group celebrate with Muslim Umah within and outside Kogi State on this year El-eid-Fitri celebration, we can be a change persons if we focus and follow God’s commandment as enshrined in the Holy Book of the Glorious Qur’an for this would have been easier for all mankind to strive.

Despite the current challenges bedeviling the country ranging from insecurity and other compounded related issues, Nigeria has made some landmarks that must be celebrated.

“We should keep hope alive as we celebrate this year Sallah. Let us commit to peace and goodwill towards all.

“We pray to God Almighty that the blessings and lessons of Ramadan will spread all through our State and move us to be better people.”

The group also called on Kogi residents to join hands with Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu in taking the state to the next level of prosperity, to make the State peaceful, economically viable, and safe for everyone by upholding peace and harmony.

The group which has members across the 21 Local Governments in Kogi State unveiled 5 cardinal point agendas of their Principal, a renowned banker, philanthropist, and political juggernaut, Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu.

The agenda is as follows:
Job and wealth creation, security, infrastructure, Education/Healthcare, and Industrialization.

The group under the able leadership of Umar Ogijo is working assiduously for the emergence of Shuaibu Abubakar Audu as the next Governor of Kogi State.
