Against the backdrop of shortage of white collar jobs in the country, a director with the Federal Capital Territory Administration, has called on youths in Nasarawa State to embrace entrepreneurship.

Mallam Bashir Muhammad, Director, Human Resources Management, at the FCTA, made the call on Wednesday, while hosting members of the Nasarawa Youth Initiative for Peace & Good Leadership (NYIPGL), in Abuja.

According to Mallam Muhammad, since it’s apparent that government alone cannot absorb everyone into the civil service, there is need for youths in Nasarawa State to embrace entrepreneurship as a means for self subsistence.

He emphasized that it has become expedient for the youth to ensure a sustainable economic plan that will improve economic development of the state, further urging them to embark on agriculture as a tool for sustainable growth.
