Engineer Shadrach Lamidi, the convener of the ‘PROJECT A1’, has described the just concluded Kogi State council polls as a demonstration to deepening democratic values and good governance at the grassroots.
Engineer Lamidi said the party and the state electoral bodies has successfully completed the process of putting in place democratically elected council officials in the 21 Local Government areas and 239 wards councilors.
In a statement signed by his Media Aide Gomina Habib, said Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello recognised the importance of the third tier of government stating that the system will ensure a government of inclusion where everybody will have a voice. Today, he has brake the chain of barriers at the LGAs and Wards levels.
Engr Ananyi Shadrach Lamidi while congratulating the newly elected Ajaokuta LG Chairman Hon Mustapha Aka’aba7 said its time to make things happen in his domain.
He also congratulated all 14 electoral ward councilors from Ajaokuta LG and wishing them success as they’re fully set to hit the ground running inline with Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello’s led administration in the State.
“Now that the campaigns are over, its time to consolidate on what you have done while serving as Administrator of the Council”.
