Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engineer Muhammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu has restated Governor Yahaya Bello’s resolved to support any individual or groups willing to develop Kogi

Engineer Bashir Gegu made the commitment during the lunching of Unity Thrift and Credit Society Hall, in Gegu Beki, Kogi Local Area of the State on Saturdayi, said the Governor Yahaya Bello led administration will continue to impact positively on the citizens’ of the State.
Engr. Gegu commended the group for rendering selfless service to humanity, improving the well-being of people in the area as well as increasing socio-economic activities in the State.
The elated Gegu said the group was out not only for the people but complementing government effort towards reducing high rate of poverty in rural area.
The Commissioner recalled he sponsored and supported over two thousand market women with monetary aid to boost their businesses in order to be self reliance.
He used the occasion to call on Gegu Beki residents and beyond to support Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Kogi State All Progressives Congress, APC, for November 11 election.

He therefore, supported the group with Six hundred thousand naira as part his support to the group to enhance productivity.
The Commissioner was accompanied by the Senior Special Assistant, SSA, on Population and Data collection, Hon Abdullahi Idowu Suleiman,
SSA on youths empowerment Hon. Saidu Ibrahim (Bobo Ohi) and among others
Global Times Nigeria reported that the Commissioner also inspected the cooperative Hall.

Engr. Bashir was received by Chief Onyebuchi and Alhaji Kafaru members of the cooperative hall.
