Etsu Kwali turbans newly appointed village chiefs, district head

The Etsu /chairman of Kwali traditional rulers council, His Royal Highness (HRH) Alhaji Shaban Audu Nizazo, (III) on Saturday, turbaned four newly appointed village chiefs in his chiefdom.

The newly turbaned village chiefs and district head are Yusuf Etsu Piri, who is the district head of Gumbo, Isah Audu Nyani, village chief of Sheda, Dantani Shandawo Yakubu, as village chief of Yangoji and Yusuf Yamawo, as the village chief oKwaitota.

He, therefore, charged the new village chiefs to ensure they maintain peaceful co-existence among their subjects especially farmers and herdsmen in their domains.

The monarch, however, stated that the traditional council of chief road map would strengthen integrity by ensuring a corrupt-free Kwali area council.

He intimated the council chairman of his plan to inaugurate more chiefs that would alongside himself take critical decisions.

Also speaking at the event, the chairman of the council, Danladi Chiya, said his administration has ensured that merit always prevailed in the appointment of chiefs and other traditional officers in the council, irrespective of religion or tribe.

The chairman, while congratulating the new village chiefs and district head, said his administration will continue to worth to bridge the gap in bringing about t synergy between the executive, the legislative, ve and the judicial arms of government.

He, therefore, urged the new chiefs to ensure the unity of their community, while charging their subordinates to support them in ensuring that their villages are taken ta greater heights.
