Hon. Alhaji Suleiman Abdulhameed Danjuma Gegu, a former Senior Special Assistant on Political Matters to Governor Yahaya Bello representing Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency, has congratulated Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa on his appointment as Chairman State Civil Service Commission.
Alhaji Danjuma Gegu, in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Lokoja, described the appointment as well-deserved.
The Global Times Nigeria reports that Barr. Tanko, a renowned Legal practitioner and former Administrator of Kogi Local Government was on Wednesday screened and confirmed as the Chairman State Civil Service Commission by the State House of Assembly.
The former Political adviser is a traditional title holder of Ongyehu Orgbane of Gegu beki kingdom and the Kwarbai of Abaji kingdom.
described Barr. Tanko as a technocrat, who had, over the years, demonstrated efficiency and effectiveness in every assignment he undertook.
“Tanko is a hardworking man who has distinguished always himself in any assignment he undertook, both at the State and national levels,’’ he said.
Alhaji Danjuma Gegu, who expressed optimism that the new State Civil Service Commission Chairman would not disappoint the people of Kogi LG and Kogi State in general in his new assignment, called on the people to support him.
