The Senate minority leader, Senator Phillip Aduda representing the FCT has been conferred with a traditional title as the Sarkin – Aiki (chief of projects) of Tungan – Maje chiefdom in Gwagwalada area council of Abuja.
The Tsumaje of Tungan – Maje, His Royal Highness (HRH) Alhaji Salihu Isiaka Na’Annabi, announced the new. traditional title when $enator Aduda paid him a homage at his palace on Friday, in the area.
Alhaji Na’Annabi said the palace found worthy to confer such title on Senator Aduda because of his performance in the area of providing viable infrastructures that have been impacting on the lives of not only his subjects but across the FCT.
He said Senator Aduda’s achievements in the area of infrastructures, youth /women, health care services, education sector, employment and among others has surpassed that of his predecessors, hence, he deserve to be given a traditional title.
“This traditional title this palace conferred on our son, Senator Phillip Aduda is owing to his impact in the community and environs through projects siting and his relentless intervention in the incessant military invasion in my chiefdom,” he said.

In his response, Senator Aduda, appreciated the monarch and members of his traditional council for conferring him with such title, saying the title will enhance him to continue to do more for the good people of Tunga Maje and entire FCT.
He, therefore, enjoined the people community to be steadfast and remain positive about the recent political events in the FCT, even as he assured that he will continue to pursue for what belongs to them legally.
Meanwhile, Senator Aduda, also attended the wedding of Fatiha of Mr. Musa Shamsudeen, who is his PDP ward coordinator in the area.
Aduda, who was accompanied by the FCT Commissioner for Public Complaints Commission (PCC) Dalhatu Ezekiel Musa and the campaign coordinator for the PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, in the FCT, Alhaji Adamu Mustapha Danze, in which
Senator Aduda, urged the couple to live in peace with one another.
He also advised the couple not to allow a third party into their marriage, even as harped on patience and tolerance from the couples, while he prayed for God to bless the marriage.
