FCT Polls: “I can’t Be Rigged Out When I Win Convincingly,’ – Says Kuje Council Chairman.

The chairman of Kuje area council, Abdullahi Suleiman Sabo, said he cannot be rigged out during the forthcoming council election on February 12, 2022 when he win squarely and convincingly.

Global Times Nigeria correspondent report that, Sabo is seeking re-election for as second term on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the February 12, 2022 chairmanship election in Kuje area council.

Sabo, while speaking at the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders meeting in Kuje town hall last Thursday, urged both the PDP members and supporters to remain firm and resolute to go out en-mass cast to mobilize the electorates ahead of the council election.

“And I want to make it clear here that it is two things that will make us lost at the polls. Firstly, when we decide to bear hatred and malign each other. Secondly, when we fail to come and unite together or else, we shall emerge victorious at the polls God’s willing,” he said.

He said there was no basis for any member or supporter of the party to be swayed by antics of the ruling APC, saying the radical transformation in the area of infrastructures his administration has been putting in place has justified his reelection for a second term by the electorates across the ten wards of the council.

He further urged members and supporters to ensure they embark on vigorous campaign for the victory of the party at the polls, instead of allaying fears of the ruling APC to rig the council election.

The chairman, said his administration has been providing viable infrastructures across the ten wards of the council, adding that the council has procured Ten 400 KVA transformers which he said will be mounted across the ten wards of the council.

Also speaking, the senator Philip Aduda, representing FCT, who was represented by the Commissioner for FCT Public Complaint Commission (PCC) Ezikiel Dalhatu Musa, sue for peace and unity among the party’s members and supporters across the territory.

Aduda, urged members and supporters of the party to take advantage of the ongoing voters registration to go and get registered ahead of the general election in the FCT, even as he urged the youths to continue to be law abiding to constituted authorities in the territory.

On his part, the Kuje area council chapter of the PDP, Alhaji Mohmmed Ismaila Yenche, note that the achievements of the PDP led administration of Abdullahi Suleiman Sabo, in the area of provision of dividends of democracy was responsible for daily defection of some APC stakeholders supporters into the PDP across the ten political wards of the council.

He described PDP as a party that accommodate everyone who is ever ready to pitch tent with the party, while assuring that the party will continue to treat all the APC members to defected to PDP equally without any discrimination.
