Gov. Abdullahi Sule, a leader’s Leader and Epitome of Good Governance and Transparency- Chief Philip Dada

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has been described as leader’s leader and epitome of good governance, accountability and transparency.

A former member of the State Executive Council and commissioner for works, housing and transports, and former Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State Chief Philip Dada, made the assertion in a press statement available to journalists in Karu, his hometown Sunday, said Engineer Sule selflessly refused to be overwhelmed by the temptation of the executive of the powerful office of Governor to tamper with the Commonwealth and assets of the people of the state.

According to the statement: “the Governor Sule has amply sent this message to the parlance of politics nationwide by the return of twenty million naira (#20m) from a ruling party national assignment where many of us would see this remains as their own share of the ‘cake’. His transparency in the management of State resources has attracted many a SIFTAS financial reward to the State which he routinely declares to all and deploys for specific projects and good governance programmes”, he said.

It will be recalled that Governor Sule had returned twenty million naira (20m) to the National Chairman of APC, Abdullahi Adamu as the remaining funds spent when he headed the media and publicity committee at the special national convention of the party in Abuja months ago, where the Governor received accolades from all quarters.

Chief Philip Dada who hold a traditional tittle of ‘Ajiyan Karu in Karu chiefdom, opined that, the Award to Nasarawa state under the stewardship of Engineer Abdullahi Sule as the best State in the Covid 19 vaccination and the effective management of it’s funds speaks volumes to the nation of the kind of leader he is.

The former Secretary to the government of Nasarawa State, further stressed that the very least people must do to reward this icon of a leader is to ensure his non negotiable return as Governor come 2023.

“We need you A.A Sule. Nasarawa State needs you to complete the very good works you’re doing for teeming populace of our citizens”.

He then, congratulated the Governor for his track record of achievements, urging him to continue providing devidends of democracy to the people for the overall development of Nasarawa state.
