Gov. Sule swears in 14 new Commissioners, Nasarawa hails Speaker, Members for partnership
Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has sworn in 14 commissioners and 18 Special Advisers that would assist him to run the affairs of the State.

The Governor commended the members of the House of Assembly under the leadership of Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi for accelerated screening and confirmation of the Commissioners.
Sule congratulated and wished the new commissioners and Special Advisers well in their various offices.
The new Commissioners and their portfolios are
(1) Hon Yakubu Kwanta- Commissioner For Environment and Natural Resources.
(2)Hon Yusuf Aliyu Turaki- Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Community Development.
(3) Hajiya Aishatu Rufai Ibrahim- Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development.
(4) Hon. Salihu Enah- Commissioner for Trade, Industry, and Investment.
(5) Prof. Umar Mika’il Gurku- Commissioner for Science and Technology.
( 6) Nuhu Ibrahim Oshafu- Commissioner for Agriculture and Water Resources.
(7) Engr. Idris Mohammed Idris- Commissioner for Works, Housing and Transport.
(8) Mohammed Tanimu Sarki – Commissioner for Land and Urban Development.
(9) Barr. Abimiku Hannatu Bala- – Commissioner for Special Duties and Legal.
(10) Hajiya Fatu Jemita Sabo- Commissioner for Education.
(11) Yakubu Mohammed Lawal- Commissioner for Information, Culture, and Tourism.
(12) Daniel Agyeno – Commissioner for Finance, Budget, and Planning.
(13)Pharm. Ahmed Baba Yahaya- Commissioner for Health.
(14)Amb. Lucky Isaac Yargwa- Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The well-attended event had in attendance the State Deputy Governor Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, Speaker of the State Assembly Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi led other members to the event, Ambassador. Henry Omaku, HRH Rtd Justice Sidi Bage the Emir of Lafia who led other traditional rulers among others.
