As part of ongoing effort by present administration led by Honourable Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas (Aquatic) to ensure peace, development, equity and for ease of administration in the area, the legislative arm of Toto local government area of Nasarawa State on Wednesday graced the historic naming ceremony of a son of the Chieftain of ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Dausu Ward, Umaisha development area of Toto LG.
Speaker of Toto LGC, Rt. Honourable Abdulhamid Abdullahi Ozimazi who led principal officers and other members of the legislative council said they were in the area to specifically felicitate with their famous grassroot political juggernaut who has shown capacity and commitment towards strengthening the party at the grassroot level over the years.
“We are in Umaisha to congratulates, rejoice and shows solidarity for Allah’s unprecedented blessings upon your good family and to also build unity and harmony between the party and the legislature.”
“We are here as part of our cardinal principles of working to promote peace, development and unity amongst our people at grassroot level. ”
While congratulating the guardians for the gift of Allah, the Toto LGC Speaker prayed Allah for protection, Allah’s guidance and wisdom and prosperity to enable the parents of new baby nurture their child in accordance with Islamic rite as to emerged best in the societies.
Global Times Nigeria Correspondent report that the event held inside Umaisha town hall and under strict supervision of Hon. Ibrahim Dausu, APC Chairman for Dausu and father of the new born baby.
The event was peaceful and well attended by 12 ward councillors, APC LGC Chairman, Ward APC Chairmen, Rt. Hon.Ibrahim Balarabe Abdulahi Central Working Committee, other party dignitaries and supporters cut across Toto LGC.
Responding, The APC Chairman for Dausu ward and father of the new born baby, Hon. Ibrahim Dausu, thanks the legislative arm of the council for adding color to the most attended event.
Ibrahim Dausu who doubles as Chairman of All APC ward Chairmen in Toto LG equally thanked the party structures for their open show of love, solidarity and his boss, Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly representing Umaisha/Ugya for making it possible for them to be part of a ruling party in Toto LG and State at a large.
The new born baby was named ABDULMAJEED IBRAHIM.
