Executive members and Ward Coordinators of the Igala Youth Development Congress (IYDC) Idah LGA chapter, presented an Award to her national President Hon. Felix Solomon Omachoko, The SSA on Political Matters to the Deputy Governor of Kogi State.
The award “Political Mathematician” according to members of the Congress was in recognition of his support for youth development, contributions to the advocacy of Youth inclusiveness in governance, and the unprecedented leadership qualities which are rear among others.
In honour of the late member of IYDC leadership Idah LGA chapter, the Group also uptimise the opportunity to thank the Honourable for his visit and gifts sent to the family of late Justice OMODAN (Coordinator, IYDC Idah LGA) whose sad demise was untill today a misery considering his unmatched contributions.
The Igala Youth group equally used the opportunity to meet with H.E Chief Edward David Onoja (CIK, Olimene Attah Igala-Doogaaaa) to congratulate him and his Boss on their historic electoral victory at the recent Gubernatorial poll in the state.
Speaking Further, The group Appreciate His Excellency, Chief Edward David Onoja, for the recommendation and appointment of worthy sons of Igala kingdom into strategic positions in government, for better and efficient smooth running of the government in complementing the good work of the Governor.
The National Secretary of the Congress Comrade Ochedi Shaibu Udale while speaking on behalf of the group, extolled the good and reliable virtues of the President, also Thanked H.E Chief Edward David Onoja for finding their President worthy of his present position.
Responding to the group, The deputy Governor commended the group for their standout efforts in ensuring victory for the GYB/CEDO mandate, He advised Igala youths and youths all over Kogi State, specifically those in diaspora to eschew all forms of social vices capable of giving a negative perception on the state.
Hon. Felix Solomon Omachoko, who was submerged with joy and happiness thanked the group for their contributions, and also assured them of his total support towards the development of Igala kingdom and Kogi in general.
