The Adavi LG APC flagbearer ahead of the Council polls in the state, slated to hold on the 12th December, 2020, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami visited Kogi Pillars Football Club at the Confluence Stadium in Lokoja where they are holding training presently for the National League.
Three players have been selected from the Club to represent Kogi State in the National League.
The Prospective Adavi LG Chairman who so much believes in the spirit of sportsmanship has never for once relented on his effort to encourage the players as he also demonstrated today. He donated training kits for the club.
Hon. Joseph Omuya has been acknowledged as the Father, Team Manager, Influencer, Bridgebuilder, and record-breaker in Ebira land due to his struggles towards sports activities in which has yielded Kogi Pillars and so many other clubs positive results.
In his keynote address during the visit to the training camp, Hon. Joseph gave glory to Almighty God and also appreciated His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello under whose capacity has been acting. He advised the teammates to cultivate the habit of discipline, humbleness, and respect for one another.
He further reassured his commitments and support to the club in which way he could.
“More positive changes will be coming as soon as I resume office as the Executive Chairman of Adavi LG God’s willing, in togetherness we stand”, Hon. Joseph Omuya stated.
