Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Women Affairs, Hon. Asmau Gogo Kabir, has reaffirm her readiness to deliver the needed results in her new assignment.

Hon. Asmau made the commitment when she received members of the National Youth Council (NYC) and Abuja Ebira Connect (AEC) at her residence in Abuja.

She said her appointment as was a testament of Governor Yahaya Bello’s all-inclusive leadership style in Kogi State, promising to live up to expectations in the discharge of her duties.

“I am not the most intelligent, not the bravest, I am just a mother whose life is governed by the principles of love and care but, I am occupying a position today because someone believes in me

“This person believed in the capacity of women to effect positive change as transformational agent

“I am talking about His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State

“He choose me to serve as his Special Adviser on Women Affairs, a position I have viewed as a call to impact the lives of women positively

“I want to use this medium to once again celebrate and thank the vibrant Executive Governor of Kogi State, for believing in women”

Speaking further, Hon. Gogo explained that “I want to state categorically that leadership position, at whatever level is a call to service

“Therefore I humbly pledge to serve faithfully in the capacity bestowed upon me by the Executive Governor of Kogi State as his Special Adviser on Women Affairs”

She assured the Groups that their messages will be relayed to the State government, while calling on the Associations to remain peaceful in their conduct.
