Just In: NKFI Rector, Charles Oluwatoyin receives Nigerianpost Newspaper Award in Kogi

The Rector, Nigeria-Korea Friendship Institute, NKFI, Williams Charles Oluwatoyinl has been honoured for his rocket-speed performance and commitment towards repositioning of the institution.

The Rector was honoured on Thursday during the annual lectures and awards ceremony organised by the ‘Nigerian Post Newspaper’, in commemoration of the celebration of 32nd year of the creation of the state on August 27, held at the Edge Drive hotel, Lokoja.

According to the convener, the young Rector was awarded in recognition of his outstanding performance and excellent learning environment as provided barely a year he assumed office.

The State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello who was represented by his Commissioner of Education, Wemi Jones presented the award on behalf of the Nigerianpost management.

Global Times Nigeria reports that the Rector would be marking his first year anniversary as the administrative head of the all important technical and vocational institute in September this year.

Reports says his vision, wealth experience and passion aided greatly in reviving, rejuvenating and repositioning the institution and several enviable achievements recorded.

The occasion with a theme, “Sustaining unity, peace of the Confluence, This House must not fall” delivered by Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, the Vice Chancellor, Federal University, Lokoja.
