The Executive Chairman, Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Honorable Samuel Akala Gajere has on behalf of his beloved family, the government and peace loving people of Karu Local Government Area, heartily rejoice with all Christian faithful’s on the occasion of this year’s commemoration of Easter celebration.
In a statement Akala personally issue to the media said Easter is celebrated world wide to commemorate the death and resurrection of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, signifying Christ power over death.
“It is a moment of sober reflection on the uncommon sacrifice paid by our Lord and savior on the cross of calvary for the redemption of man. Christ death and resurrection has reconciled man back to God his creator. This is the foundation of Christianity. Akala added.
“As we reflect deeply on the lessons of the season, we should pray for our council area, Nasarawa State and the nation at large for God’s sustaining grace, peace and progress. ”
“We should pray for the peace, unity and progress of our land, particularly at this time when the world is faced with myriads of challenges, worthy of note is the global health emergency, the Corona Virus pandemic for its end in Nigeria and the world. ”
“I congratulate our citizens as they mark this year’s Easter celebration and pray for God’s protection, blessings and unending happiness.
