King Aro Dumps PDP for APC, Promises 100% Loyalty to the Party

A former Commissioner of the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC), Alhaji Haruna Anaja, popularly called King Aro, has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Receiving King Aro at the Veterinary Unit, Egah Ward – Idah Local Government Area, the Council Chairman, Alhaji Abu Odoma, who was represented by his Vice, Zuwerat Idowu, congratulated Alhaji Anaja for his decision to join APC and urged him to work for the growth of the party.

The Idah LGA Boss described the defection as timely and charged him to mobilize his supporters to the ruling All Progressives Congress.

He assured King Aro of equal opportunity and a level playing ground and called on other APC supporters to see him as a family member.

On his part, the House of Assembly Member representing Idah Constituency, Alhaji Suleiman Atajachi, called on King Aro to bring his wealth of experience to bear in his new party – APC.

The Lawmaker promised Alhaji Haruna Anaja of his support at all times and charged him to adhere strictly to the party’s constitution.

In a remark, Alhaji Haruna Anaja AKA King Aro, appreciated God for His protection over his life so far, and also thanked APC stakeholders in the Area for accepting him into the party.

King Aro promised not to disappoint the party.

He thanked the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and other stakeholders of the party for creating friendly environment for all, saying he will mobilize for the success of the party in subsequent elections.
