As Kogi 2023 governorship election draw closed an aspirant of the governing All Progressives Congress, APC, and Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Alhaji Murtala Yakubu (Ajaka) has indicted interest to serve the people of Kogi State.
Yakubu Ajaka is a personality that is known across Kogi State and Nigeria as a result of his philanthropic gestures which has no boundary in respective of religion, ethnicity or political affiliation.
Ajaka is one notable personality who has singlehandedly championed the crusade of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Shettima including all APC candidates to various wards, polling units and all the three senatorial districts of Kogi State without considering his ambition first unlike other governorship aspirants who have not left their comfort zone to assist any candidate.
Alhaji Ajaka said he quite agreed with other aspirants on the right to contest for the highest office of the state, but it will be nice to be identified with the anticipated victory of the ruling party by contributing their little quota to the success of all the candidates.
Alhaji Murtala Yakubu has been pre-occupied with political activities by mobilizing voters for all APC candidates from top to the bottom in the State.
According to Mallam Gowon Daikwo from Idah, Alh. Murtala Yakubu Ajaka has helped to light up Idah town and other adjoining villages in Kogi East among other developmental projects.
It could be recalled that, Alh. Murtala Yakubu Ajaka donated about 60 cars some times ago in support of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu / Shettima presidential campaign, an effort that was commended by all party faithful in the state and many more ongoing engagements with the grass roots aimed at canvasing for more votes for the party.
The young philanthropist who just celebrated his 45th year of God faithfulness in his life has touched lives and many communities positively.
