Kogi Auditor General Okala empowers over 200 Odu populace, urges support for APC’s Ododo

No less than 2 200 people in Odu ward 1 and Odu ward 2 comprising women, youths and elderly in Dekina local government area of kogi State got a large sum of money as “First batch Empowerment’ by an illustrious son of the area and kogi State Auditor General, Alhaji Yakubu Yusuf Okala.

Okala while presenting the cash donations to the beneficiaries at Odu Ogboyaga and Odu -Ofomu Communities on Thursday maintained that the kind gesture was a justification and his personal conviction to pay people back for their unwavering electoral and political Support they gave during the Presidential, National and state Assembly elections evident in the overwhelming votes they turned out.

Okala who acknowledged an applauds showered on the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and on him in influencing several governmental and pro-people projects ranging from rural electrification, provision of several transformers, potable drinking water, rural electrification, education, appointments of theirsons and daughters into key government offices and other too numerous to mention, urged electorate to reciprocate these kind gesture to repeats the same feat and vote en-masse for ODODO/OYIBO governorship candidacy during the November eleven election.

He lauded the state executive governor and his principal, Alh. Yahaya Bello for remembering Odu Communities in upgrading the ‘Atamodu Odu Stool’ to a first class status as well as the GBADALIGI STOOL” asserting that by so doing the Governor has showed clearly the passion he has for Odu Communities and its citizens as history will be kind to his good deeds.

Various speakers like the ward chairman of All Progressives Congress Odu ward, Akur Abdulahi, APC Women leader, Hajiya Ogwu Musa, Odu Community leader , Chief Ibrahim Otidoga and Youth leader, John Akpa all drumed Support for Ododo/Oyibo governirship ambition.
