The traditional rulers particularly those of Riverine areas has expressed their appreciation to the Kogi state government for its efforts in ensuring the security and protection of their domains.
They commend the government’s commitment to maintaining peace and stability, which is essential for the progress and well-being of their communities.
The traditional rulers recognize the importance of a safe and secure environment for sustainable development and are grateful for the government’s support in achieving this.
The Riverine chiefs (Ohinoyi) under the aegis of Ekuzi Progressive Association in Kogi local government area of the State, hosted their son, political leader of the area and serving Commissioner in the State Ministry of Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engineer Muhammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu on Wednesday.
The traditional rulers hosted the people’s Commissioner at Agbudu in zone B area to pledged their support and readiness to deliver the All Progressives Congress, APC, Governorship candidate, Ahmed Usman Ododo.
According to the royal fathers, the meeting was initiated to appreciate Kogi State Governor,p Alhaji Yahaya
Adoza Bello for his pragmatic leadership style which has brought relief to the people of Kogi LG.

Ekuzi Progressive Association equally appreciated the Commissioner for being a worthy son of the soil.
They described Engineer Muhammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu as a trusted son serving to the admiration of Kogi LG residents and prayed God for his success.
Source at the meeting told our correspondent that the Commissioner had linked the Governor on a phone conversation with the traditional rulers where he thanked for supporting his administration and urged them do same for his incoming successor, Ahmed Usman Ododo.
In a remark, Engineer Muhammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu thanked the traditional rulers for their fatherly advised and supportive of present administration led by Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello.
Engineer Bashir Gegu who represent the Governor at the event urged the traditional rulers to mobilize their subjects to come out en mass to vote APC during November 11 election.
He pledged Kogi State Government continued support in area of security, education, health and human capital development among others.
