Kogi Govt. Receives N6.6 Billion As June Allocation.

Kogi State government said it has received a total of N6,609,759,939 as the amount for June to Kogi State from the federation account.

Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Mukadam Asiru Idris, who disclosed this while speaking on the June allocation, stated that N3.6 billion is allocated to the state government while N2.9 billion is allocated to the 21 local government areas in the state.

According to him, the net statutory allocation for the month of June is N2,390,270,222.22, explaining that the value added tax (VAT) for the month of June is N1,031,567.784.95.

The commissioner further explained that the exchange gain and excess bank charge for June is N195,062,398.85 and 7,895,816.25 respectively.

Asiru added that N3,624,796,222.22 stand as Kogi State gross statutory distributable income for June while N2,126,171,584.30 stand as net statutory allocation.

The Finance Commissioner explained that the administration of Yahaya Bello will continue to deliver good governance to the people of Kogi State through accountability, adding that the New Direction Ideology remain an open government and committed to the service of the people.

The Kogi State government has remained committed, open and accountable to the people by regularly making available monthly account of the government to the people of the state.
