Kogi Guber: APC NWC inaugurate National campaign council for November Governorship election.

The National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), over the weekend inaugurated its National Campaign council to prosecute the forthcoming Kogi state Governorship election.
The committee headed by the Ogun state Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has Lagos, Kwara, Niger, Benue and Nasarawa state governors as Co-Chairmen, while members of National Assembly from the North Central geo-political zone, elected on platform of APC are members.
National Chairman of the party, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, while inaugurating the committee on Saturday, charged them to deliver on issue based campaigns
While he appreciated the government and people of Kogi state for the warm reception and hospitality, the National Chairman, expressed satisfaction and gratitude to the Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for numerous achievements recorded during his tenure.
Ganduje said the members of the National Working Committee as well as the visiting prominent politicians to Kogi are overwhelmed with the massive development recorded in the state, especially in education and health sectors.
According to the former Kano state Governor, the performances of Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has already defeated any opposition political party in Kogi state.
He expressed optimism that the usual APC election victories under Governor Yahaya Bello will be reenacted with more resounding margin.
Earlier in his welcome address the host Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, commended the National Chairman of the APC, for the innovations he has introduced by carrying the party to the people at the grassroots.
Bello assured the party leadership and the entire members that the Kogi November 11 Governorship election is a done deal, stating without any doubt that the ruling APC will sweep all the votes.
The Kogi Governor, also used the occasion to eulogise the virtues of the President of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his longstanding and his unrelenting struggle for democracy and freedom for Nigerians.
He said the people of Kogi state look up to the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, promised that they will emulate him and support his government.
The ceremony was attended by prominent APC leaders across the country including, former Governor of Imo state, Senator Rochas Okorocha, former Deputy Governor of Plateau state and a one time Minister Mrs Pauline Talem.
Hundreds of supporters of the party from the 21 local government areas converged on the Lugard House, Government House Lokoja, venue of the ceremony.
