Kogi Guber election: Prince Shuaibu Audu rejects Kogi APC primary elections results.

IDRIS AHMED, LOKOJA.

Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, who aspired and registered for the Kogi Governorship primary election on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has described the result of the election as a highly compromised and fraudulent process characterized by unprecedented irregularities.

This was contained in a press statement issued in Lokoja on Monday by the Shuaibu Audu Campaign Organisation and made available to newsmen by the spoke person Mr. Daniel Idoko

The Campaign Organization stated that the enormity of absurdities and infractions which dominated the process of the Primary Election is incurable and calls for its cancelation.

The Campaign Organisation further stated that the announced results emanated from no polling center rather from a hide-out where results were fictitiously and frivolously concocted and allocated and described the process as one of the greatest electoral fraud in our political history.

The statement further disclosed that all other aspirants, apart from the anointed, and party members who waited in vain to cast their votes, later discovered that results were announced and votes allocated fraudulently.

The campaign organisation calls on President Muhammadu Buhari, the President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the National Chairman of the party Sen. Abdullahi Adamu to intervene.

As a campaign organisation, the statement noted, ” we are determined to ensure that justice is done, this we shall pursue to logical conclusion through the Primary Election Appeal Committee and we shall not hesitate eventually if need be to challenge the process in a court of law, as it is an established fact that when and if a party violates its own rules, its actions becomes a nullity”, the statement added.
