Kogi Guber: Zone B Leaders holds Stakeholders meeting in Kogi LG, vow to deliver APC’s Ododo

All Progressives Congress, APC, leadership in Zone B area of Kogi Local Government Area have met to reaffirmed their full support to it’s governorship candidate in the November 11 election, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The meeting which had in attendance both serving and former leaders from the four electoral wards which includes, Irenodu, Akpasu, Koton-karfe South East and Tawari wards with a particular interest to sustain unity that will add value to the area vis-a-vis politics, security and economic stability.

Hon (Barr.) Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku, an APC chieftain, critical stakeholder and Executive Chairman Kogi State Civil Service Commission from Zone B said the meeting was part of effort to cement their cordial relation among the party ranks.

He therefore, call on all party members to redouble their efforts towards achieving victory at the poll.

Barr. Tanko who formerly served as Chief administrator of Kogi Local Government emphasized the need to move in uniform, noting that such strength will add more to success of APC in the area.

He expressed his deepest appreciation to stakeholders and party executives in the area for their colt ensuring APC sustain it winning stream.

His words: “We’ve come along way with this ruling party (APC), the leader of the party and Governor Yahaya Bello has done immensely well for the people of Kogi LG.”

Tanko who went further to named some projects executed and facilitated by the Governor Yahaya Bello led administration includes, rural electrification project, promotion of rich cultural heritage of Igu-Koton-karfe Kingdom, Agriculture, youths and women empowerment.

Others include appointment of industrious sons being Special Advisers, Special Assistants which cut across the three Zone of council.

According to him, the task before us now is to ensure APC and Ododo is deliver that we LG will continue to witnessed more dividends of democracy.

The legal icon also used the occasion to appreciate the State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Hon (Engr.) Mohammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu for his sincere support to the party across Kogi LG, saying the young politician has displayed unequal leadership prowess.

In a separate remarks, Alhaji Yahaya Shadow, Hon Bala Ette, Barr Abdulrahman Ndako Tanko, Hon Muhammed Asio, LG party chairman, councilors and other party stalwarts praised the leadership of the zone for their thoughtfulness and assured of their continued support especially in the upcoming election.

Zone B stakeholders who attended the meeting were, Alhaji Yahaya Shado (SSA), Hon Rilwan Bala Ette (SSA), Hon Abubakar Ona, 4 councilors representing the area, Kogi LG APC chairman, LG party secretary, Barr Abdulrahman Ndako Tanko (ex KSHA member), Hon Muhammed Asio, Kogi LG ES, Hon Crammer and some selected party stalwarts among others.
