Kogi New HoS Receives Appointment Letter, Promises To Live Up To Expectations In The Discharge of Her Duties

Kogi State New Head of Service, Mrs. Hannah Odiyo Onyinoyi on Tuesday, received her appointment letter from the State Civil Service Commission, Lokoja.

Handing over the letter to the new HoS, Chairman of the Commission, Hon. Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku, congratulated Mrs. Hannah Odiyo Onyinoyi over her elevation.

He said Governor Bello has once again put a square peg in a square hole through the appointment, stressing that Mrs. Odiyo, haven been a civil servant will bring her wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of her duties.

Barr Tanko described the new HoS as a woman with godly character, expressing optimism that under her reign, civil servants in the State will wear smiling faces.

“Mrs. Hannah Odiyo Onyinoyi, has been ordained by God that in a season as this, she will be leading Civil Servants in our dear State, Kogi. I want to state categorically that His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello has once again performed beyond the expectation of Kogites by appointing someone who has been in the Civil service to serve as the Head of Service in the State”

“She is committed, hardworking, God fearing and her humility is out of this world. I also want to congratulate civil servants in the State for having someone from their constituence and am sure, civil servants will be wearing smiling faces under her leadership”

The Civil Service Commission boss appreciated Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello for his efforts so far at transforming the civil service, stressing that in no distant time, Kogi State will become an envy to other States.

“Governor Bello is someone that has the people of the State at heart. This he has demonstrated through the various laudable projects he embarked on in the State ranging from rural electrification, road construction, youth/women Inclusiveness in governance, breaking barriers of ethnicity, religious dichotomy, civil service reform among others. He is a man that is always ready and willing to go all out to ensure that Kogi State takes the lead in all good things”

On her part, the new Head of Service, Mrs. Hannah Odiyo Onyinoyi, described her elevation as a call to service.

Mrs. Odiyo appreciated Governor Bello for the opportunity, promising to live up to expectations.

“Elevation is a thing of joy and that’s how I feel. I lack words to appreciate God for this rare privilege. I sincerely wants to appreciate our Governor, His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello for this awesome elevation. To all civil servants in the State, I believe this is going to be a new dawn for us. I know there are so many things we want to see, I believe by the time we settle down and begin to present them one after the other before His Excellency, he will surely listen to us and we will get a lot of things done by the grace of God”
