Kogi Traditional ruler urges Nigerians to patronize home made products.

The Chairman, Ajaokuta Traditional Council and Ohi of Eganyi , His Royal Highness, Alhaji Musa Achuja has appealed to Nigerians to always patronize products manufactured by the local industry to encourage industrial revolution and self reliance.
In his opening remarks at the ongoing 5th Kogi Built Environment and Building Materials Exhibition holding at Idrinana Hotel and suites, Lokoja, the Traditional ruler said the country’s economy can only grow if the products of the local industries complete favourably with the foreign ones.
The Monarch also urged local industries to manufacturer quality products that can stand the test of international standard.
The theme of this year’s exhibition is “Profitability and Quality Advantages of Made in Nigeria Housing Development and Materials”and has attracted many manufacturers and industrialists.
The participants at the Lokoja BEBM exhibition include Dangote Cement Plc, Royal Ceramic, National Association of Block Moulders of Nigeria, Kogi state Signage and Advertisement Agency, Milk and Honey Luxury Homes, Central Bank of Nigeria and the Labour Office, Lokoja among others.
Highlight of the opening ceremony include expository on advantages of the use of ceramic products of the West African Ceramics limited, video presentation of production process and documentary on West African Ceramics tiles among other presentations.
A key note addresses were presented by the Nigeria Export Promotion Council and the National Orientation Agency.
Also Shelter Development Icons of the decade were awarded to deserving personalities for their contributions to the development of the Industry.
