LG Election: Nasarawa Speaker Reveals Why APC Won In Toto LG

On Wednesday, 6th, October 2021 the people of Nasarawa State went to the polls to elect their new councils officials that will serve for a constitutional tenure of 3 years.

The election which held under peaceful atmosphere with officials from NASIEC, security agents, political parties agents were on ground to monitor the poll.

The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi while reacting to the election after casting his vote at his polling unit Galadima B in Umaisha Development Area of Toto LG.

The Speaker who was overwhelmed with peaceful conduct of the election received high cheers and ovation from his supporters who came out in their large numbers in solidarity with APC led adminstration.

He commended Gov. Abdullahi Sule for conducting LG election in the state aimed at strengthen democracy and good governance at the grassroots.

“APC as a party in Toto LG was able to win in view of developmental milestones of the Governor Abdullahi A. Sule. ”

The Toto LG political leader also hailed the State electoral body for its effort throughout the preparation period and the final day.

Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi appreciated all APC supporters for their massive turnout and high sense of maturity exhibited and called for its sustenance throughout the period.

He appreciated the efforts of the security agents for securing the exercise by ensuring that it went smoothly just as he commended the media for their ultimate coverage.
