Member Representing Lafia North Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Barr. Muhammed Ibrahim Alkali, has re-assured the people of his constituent of more peoples orientated programmes that will better their lots.
Hon. Alkali is Chairman House Committee on Local Government and doubles as the Deputy Chief Whip of the House gave the assurance shortly after he was presented with an award of Excellence by women group in his constituency the Migili Fellowship of Women.
The Lawmaker who hold the traditional title of Talban Arikya appreciated the women group for the honour which he said will encourage him to do more in the service to his people and humanity.
Hon. Alkali who underscored the significant role of women in the society, advocated for more efforts in educating the girl child and pledged his more support for women noting that building the woman is building a nation just as he called on the women and other citizens of the state to promote peace and support the government of Engr. Abdullahi Sule beyond 2023 whom he said has serious passion for the development of the state.

Earlier, in her speech leader of the Migili Fellowship of Women (Matan Zumunta Migili) Mrs Grace Moses said they have decided to honour Hon. Muhammad Alkali with the Award of Excellence considering his exceptional leadership in the area as their representative and urged him to sustain the spirit.
The event which took place at kireyi in Adogi electoral ward featured the launching and donation for the association’s bus and other support programe.
