….Advises opposition remnants to join forces with APC winning team.

As Kogi State governorship election approaches, a prominent All Progressives Congress, APC, Chieftain, Alhaji Isah Husseni Sule has distributed monetary and food items worth thousands of naira to women, electorate and most vulnerable people in his Odariko polling unit, Koton-karfe, Kogi local government area of the State.

He called on electorate across Kogi local government to vote massively for continuity, considering positive impact the governing party contributed to the area.

Alhaji Sule who is the Permanent Secretary with Kogi State Ministry for Rural Development made the distribution of food and monetary items during a meeting with women and electorate from his Odariko polling unit.

He said Governor Yahaya Bello’s tenure is gradually coming to an end, that there is need to have another Bello who will continue to transform the State, hence the choice of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The permanent secretary said APC governorship candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo stand a better chance to win the upcoming election.

He therefore, advised the few people pretending to be in the opposition to jettisoned their support for the most popular candidate, adding that Ododo is more visible and accessible than all the guber candidate aspiring to become a Governor.

According to him, the distribution of food and money will continue even after election even as he said will be extended to other polling units within his electoral ward.

He lauded Governor Yahaya Bello for numerous achievements recorded in Kogi LG and described him as a detribalized and selfless Nigerian with a particular reference to providing good governance to his people.

On his part, leader of the Odariko polling unit, Hon Abu Sule thanked the permanent Secretary for always giving back to the society and prayed God to continued to strengthen him for more tasks.

Contributing, coordinator National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, representing Koton-karfe, Kogi LGC, Hon (Alhaji) described the permanent secretary as a leader of all with unequal capacity.

The youth said he has been watching him keenly and he has never for once disappointed in cause of performing his official duty.

He assured of support and loyalty saying that youths of he area are fully ready to vote and ensure APC mandate is protected come November 11 election.

Some beneficiary women who spoke with Global Times Nigeria correspondent said they were full of joys and fulfilled having Alhaji Isah Hussaini Sule (Onkwo) as a leader.

They played God to reward him abundantly and for APC success at the poll.

The event had in attendance some stakeholders, appointees and supporters of APC from Odariko polling unit.
