Nasarawa Assembly Commends State Ministry Of Works Over Performance.

The Nasarawa State House of Assembly Committee on Works, Housing and Transport has commended the management of the state ministry of Works Housing and Transport over its developmental strides.

Hon. Abdulaziz Suleiman Danladi, the Chairman of the committee gave commendation when the management of the ministry appeared before the committee to defend its 2021 budget proposal.

Abdulaziz Danladi said that the committee would continue to give the ministry the much needed support its deserves in order to initiate more developmental projects that would have direct bearing on the lives of the people of the state.

The chairman also urged the management of the ministry to continue with the good work it has being doing for the overall development of the state.

Earlier, Mr Philip Dada, the state Commissioner of the Ministry has appreciated the committee for supporting the activities of the ministry.

He has assured of the ministry’s readiness to continue to initiate good policies and programmes that would have direct bearing on the lives of the people of the state.

The chairman, however, appealed for more funds to enable the ministry address some of the challenges facing its and other agencies under the ministry.

Meantime, the management of the state Electricity Power Agency NAePA led by its Director of Operations, Engr. Agu Williams Agu also defended the agency’s 2021 budget proposal.
