Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has commended Gov. Abdullahi Sule for dualizing 4.3Km Lafia/ Shendam road.
This, the committee said it would decongest traffic, boost transport system and beautify the state capital.
Chairman, House Committee on Urban and Regional Planning, Hon Suleiman Yakubu Azara gave the commendation when he led other members of the committee alongside with officials of Nasarawa Urban Development Board (NUDB) to inspect the ongoing roads construction in Lafia, the state capital.
He said that Gov. Sule’s efforts in dualizing Lafia/ Shendam road and embarking on other roads contruction in Lafia deserves commemdation.
” His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi Sule’s efforts in dualizing Lafia/ Shendam road need to be appreciated by the people.
” We will give His Excellency the much needed support to succeed in execution of roads and other projects in the state,” he said
The committee equally inspected the ongoing road construction in burial ground street and Government House area road.
He also commended the contractor handling the construction of the road projects of quality jobs.
” We want to express our satisfaction with the quality and level of work done so far by contractors handling road projects in Lafia, the State Capital,” he added.
On his part, the Director Engineering NUDB Engr. Engr. Ezekiel thanked Gov. Sule and the committee for supporting the board in all of its activities.
