Nasarawa Assembly Majority Leader advises constituents to put aside political differences to support Gov Sule

The People of Keana Local Government Area of Nasarawa State have been admonished to set aside their political differences and support the government of the day to pave way for more dividends of democracy in the locality.

This and many more issues topped discussion when Majority Leader, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Hon. Mohammed Adamu Omadefu hosted stakeholders from Keana and Kwara today in Lafia.

Recalled that since he became the Majority Leader, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Mohammed Adamu Omadefu has been interfacing with different groups within his constituency and the recent were the APC stakeholders from Kwara and Keana electoral wards who were at hand to congratulate him for becoming the majority leader of the house.

The lawmaker said the level of underdevelopmentĀ  in Keana local government should be worrisome to the political class of the area thus calling for unity of purpose among the elites to lobby and persuade human and infrastructural develop to the local government.

Omadefu while pledging to liaise with the commissioner nominee of the local government to woo government presence to Keana, informed the stakeholders that he is working to ensure that the construction of Kadarko-keana road and electrification projects are captured in the state government budget.

In the meeting was the commissioner nominee of Keana local government, Magret Elayo- who appealed to the political leaders and people of the local government to set aside issues that divided them during electioneering and work collectively to develop the salt City.

On her part, the Commissioner nominee from the area Magret Elayo appreciated the lawmaker promising to partner with him to attract development to the area and better the lots of their people.
