Nasarawa Lawmaker Ven-Bawa marries heartthrob Asabe as cleric preaches love, understanding and tolerance

A Christian Cleric in Nasarawa State, Pastor Sunday Raymond, has tasked couples to avoid pride, show tolerance, understanding and love to each other for a peaceful and successful married life.
Raymond, who is the Pastor in charge of Living Faith Church, Akwanga made the call while presiding over the wedding of Hon. Larry Ven Bawa, Member Representing Akwanga North Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly and his beloved one, Miss Asabe Ajegena Sunday today in Akwanga LGA.
The religion leader also urged couples to live a life of humility and embrace effective communication in the interest of peace and for their marriage to be successful and last forever.
” Marriage is good but for a successful marriage, you people must avoid pride, be patient, show love, understanding and tolerate one another.
” Nomatter the circumstance, you should respect, show love, understanding and embrace forgiveness at all times,” he said.
He urged the wife to always be submissive to the husband and called on the husband to be responsible for peaceful and successful marriage.
The pastor urged them to avoid third party so as not to bring crisis to their marriage.
The clergy prayed God to bless their marriage.
He congratulated Hon Ven Bawa and his wife and wished them well.
Gov. Abdullahi Sule who attended the reception identified with the state assembly over the wedding of one of their own Hon Ven-Bawa.
He prayed and wished them a blessfull married life.
The Governor used the occasion to announced State Government plans to dualized Akwanga Township road.
On his part, Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, Speaker of the State Assembly advised the couple to embrace the good virtues of marriage at all times.
The Speaker congratulated them and prayed God to bless their marriage abundantly.
“This is legislative wedding, the joy of one member is the joy of all members, that is why I always said an injury to one of us is injury to all, we are here to share the joy and happiness with him, it is our occasion ” He said.
Responding, the Groom, who is the Member representing Akwanga North Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Larry Ven Bawa appreciated God for making their dreams come true.
He appreciated Gov. Sule, his deputy Dr Akabe, Rt. Hon Ibrahim, Balarabe Abdullahi, the Speaker, Honourable Members, Traditional Rulers, religion leaders, politicians, government functionaries, staff of the assembly and well wishers for their prayers and support.
He prayed God to grant them journey mercies to their various habitations.
Besides, Hon Ven Bawa assured of his continued readiness to bring speedy development to Akwanga North Constituency.
