…..Rehabilitation of Umaisha road is set to commence.
The Speaker Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi revealed that Nasarawa State Government has put machinery in place towards construction of an ultra-modern market in Toto Local Government Area to boost socio-economic activities in the area.
According to the Speaker, Governor Abdullahi Sule will send contractors to Toto Local Government for on the spot assessment of the project site and commencement of work in earnest.
The Speaker made this known while addressing thousands of supporters and citizens who came out to give him a rousing welcome at his home town Umaisha in the Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
He explained further that the project is part of Governor Abdullahi Sule’s commitment to fulfil his campaign promises to the people of the area emphasizing that if completed it will reduce poverty, create more employment and enhance economic activities in Toto Local Government.
He equally revealed that the rehabilitation of the Toto – Umaisha road is also set to begin as contractors will soon mobilize to the site for onward commencement of work.
The State Number Three Citizen called on his people to continue to champion the course of peace, pray and support the Governor to succeed beyond 2023.
Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi reassured his people of the determination of the APC-led government in the State to continue to provide them with the basic needs that will improve their general well-being.
He added that the State Governor Engr. Abdullahi A Sule has a passion for them and for peace and speedy growth of the entire state hence the need for the people to give him all the necessary support to succeed in the task ahead of him.
