Rt. Hon. Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, Nasarawa State House Assembly Speaker has commended the peaceful conduct of the just concluded ward Congress of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Toto local government area of Nasarawa State as all ward executives emerges through option of consensus.
The Speaker who represent Umaisha/Ugya constituency at the State House of Assembly expressed deep satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of congress held in the 12 electoral wards of Toto LG, adding that all the new officials who emerged through option of consensus.
He described the exercise which took place Saturday across all the electoral wards in Toto LG ended peacefully with party stalwarts conspicuously adopted a consensus option of affirmation to elect the ward executives.
According to the party chieftaincy, the success achieved in the exercise was a clear demonstration of unity and understanding among members and called for its sustenance.
The Speaker while expressing his happiness over the entire process and how all interests across polling units are adequately represented, assured of support to enable the new structure succeed in all ramifications.
He therefore congratulated all the new APC ward executive members and urged them to justify the confidence reposed on them. The Speaker said.
It would be recalled that stakeholders of the party met and adopted consensus option of affirmation to elect the ward executives across the State and Toto LG inclusive.
