Nasarawa State Social Investment Office Storms Govt. House, Commends Governor Sule for Support, Sustaining the program

It is no longer news that the official of Nasarawa State Social Investment Programme is ably led by the State focal person, Hon Imran Usman Jibrin, and is supported by other officers of the agency.

Hon. Jibrin said they were in the Government House to appreciate Governor Abdullahi Sule for his tireless efforts and support rendered over the years geared towards ensuring the sustainability of the Social Investment Programme in the state.

Imran Jibrin who is also the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Humanitarian Services to the Nasarawa State Governor
gave the commendation on Wednesday when he led other top officials of the agency to the government house on a courtesy call, stressed the need to appreciate the governor for taking all the necessary steps towards ensuring smooth implementation of the NSIP and domestication of some of the programs in the state.

According to the focal person, Engineer Sule led the All Progressives Congress, APC, administration gave birth to the Nasarawa State Conditional Cash Transfer Programme (NASCCTP).

This, he said the NASCCTP is a program initiated by the Nasarawa government under the stewardship of Governor Abdullahi A. Sule to reduce poverty through payment of a monthly stipend of N5,000 to each registered poor of the poorest and vulnerable beneficiary.

On his part, the Governor appreciated them for their resilience, courage, and ability to serve diligently since they came on board. And pledged his continue support to enable them to succeed through effective and proficient service delivery.
