A chieftain of ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Toto local government area of Nasarawa State, Alhaji Murtala Dan-madami Rich has revealed how people from different political parties do approached to joined APC because of the leadership style of the Rt. Hon. Speaker, Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim Balarabe.
Murtala Dan-madami rich is an immediate past pioneer authentic APC Chairman in Toto LG whose tenure records resound victory from 2011 in the then CPC regime, 2015 and 2019 for APC respectively.
He said many young men and women now approached him on the street to have them register with APC, following quality representation and inclusiveness of Nasarawa Speaker, Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim Balarabe.
The former LG party Chairman who was speaking on Wednesday in Toto at an APC flag off ceremony to boost the chances of the party in the area ahead of forthcoming council election slated for October 6 in the State.
“For people to willingly called me to register them in our great party, that alone shows that people still loves our party even more than before.” He said.
He lauded numerous effort of Speaker Balarabe aimed at uniting various ethnic group, ensure stability and his open support for equity and fairness in the area has continued to endeared people to him.
He congratulated his successor and expressed optimism that he will succeed inline with party manifesto.
On the October 6 election, the Business man cum grassroot politician added that Toto people has zero tolerance for opposition.
He therefore, calls on people to come out en-mass to showcase their voting strength in favour of APC.
He appealed to the incoming Executive chairman carry everybody’s along elected that doing so will trust and confidence among party men and women.
He congratulated the Chairmanship candidate and all the councilors from the 12 wards of the council.
