Onu Igala Community in Lagos praised President Tinubu for appointing ex-Kogi Gov’s son as Minister
A traditional ruler, the Onu Igala community, Ojota Kosofe of Lagos State, Alhaji Muhammed Shaibu has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the appointment of Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu as a cabinet Minister in the present administration.
This was contained in a statement issued in Lagos by the monarch, maintained that the appointment came at a time when the legacies of the late political icon dynasty was bastardized by most of his benefactors.
He described President Tinubu’s action as appalling, saying that it is evidence of a good companion of the large political dynasty across North Central, even at death .
Alhaji Muhammed called on all sundry irrespective of tribes to rally suuport the new minister to succeed.
The statement which described Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, a frontline governorship aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Kogi State enjoined other political actors in Kogi to learn from the wisdom of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Yahaya bello, that kept fate with the family of late political bulldozer, Prince Abubakar Audu in Kogi state.
He further urges the new Minister nominee, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu to avoid the activities of sycophants around him prayed God to continue to lead him through.
The Onu Igala stressed the need for all the residents in Kogi, being Igalas, Egbiras and Okun to see themselves as one and work for the overall interest, calling on them to remain peaceful especially as the forthcoming governorship election in the state is fast approaching.
