Dr Mike Onolememen CON, the Adolor of Uromi and former Minister of Works, felicitated with Christians and Catholic faithfuls across the country and Edo State on the occasion of Palm Sunday celebration.
In his message, the foremost PDP candidate for Senator, Edo Central Senatorial District, which was recorded in church today in Abuja, said he wish the celebration of the Truimphant Entry of Christ into Jerusalem brings bbundant blessings to all Christians and their families.
“On this sacred occasion,” he said, “I wish for all Christians around the world and Edo State in particular the blissful experience of happiness. I urge Christians and particularly Catholic faithfuls to remain resolute in Christ’s love with one another and even strangers. They should be earthly representatives of Jesus Christ everywhere they live.
“And I want Christians, using this Sunday as a point of contact, to pray for peaceful elections in 2022 and 2023, pray for the direction of God in choosing their representatives and pray for general peace to be restored to the country that is being threatened by violence and unnecessary killings.
“This the right time to reflect on the true meaning of Holy Day. Life is full of ups and downs. We must glorify God during the ups and fully trust him for restoration during the downs.
“I wish everyone a happy Palm Sunday. May the love of Jesus Christ fill your hearts with heavenly joy and holy desires now and forever,” he concluded.
